A HoloLens experience that transports you into the futuristic worlds of Back To The Future and Halo alongside their iconic vehicles for a groundbreaking vehicle exhibition on Hollywood’s alternative visions of the future at the Petersen Auto Museum. Working with Back To The Future co-creator Bob Gale and Halo’s studio 343 Industries Worlds Reimagined explored the role of world-building in design and fiction whilst recreating iconic characters, objects and moments from these epic franchises in mixed reality all the way down to the flux capacitor.

Back To The Future Experience
Standing next to the modified DeLorean “A” car that Doc Brown drove in the Back To The Future franchise the HoloLens wearer is transported to Twin Pines Mall to hear Bob Gale, co-producer of the cult movies, walk the visitor through the features of the iconic time traveling vehicle.

Halo Experience
Standing next to a 1:1 scale model of the Warthog vehicle in the exhibition space the HoloLens wearer is translocated into Halo and bumps into 343 Guilty Spark who walks the visitor through the features of the Warthog vehicle.
